Terremoto in Turchia, immagini dalla catastrofe
Gli effetti del devastante sisma di magnitudine 7.8 verificatosi in Turchia e Siria sono stati filmati con telefonini e droni, che hanno fornito video di sapore apocalittico.
Il bilancio delle vittime in Turchia e Siria ha superato le 3.000 persone secondo il New York Times. Circa 10.000 soccorritori erano stati dispersi nel sud-est della Turchia entro la fine di lunedì. Il ministro della Salute turco ha dichiarato che sono crollati ben 3.000 edifici.
I feriti, secondo la CNN, potrebbero essere 13,600 – dato dell’ora in cui scriviamo.
Il terremoto, percepito nell’area di Gazantiep, in realtà è stato composto da un sisma iniziale di magnitudo 7.8 seguito da un altro di magnitudine 7.5.
Scosse severe sono state percepite in Siria, oltre che nell’Anatolia sudorientale, mentre la terra ha tremato in maniera moderata fino in Libano, Giordania e Iraq.
